Jamaican me crazy!

It’s official! David and I leave for our honeymoon for Jamaica the Monday after our wedding! We had been going back and forth for weeks about our honeymoon plans, for several reasons, we couldnt decide WHAT we wanted to do, or how long we wanted to be gone, and primarily we didn’t really have to money to book a killer trip, so we just kept pushing it to something more local, casual and on the cheap. We have a lot of big plans in store over the coming months, so we had kind of ruled a big trip out, but apparently our families had other things in store for us! This weekend David and I went to Augusta to do some wedding planning/ rehearsal dinner planning/ family visiting, etc. Saturday night we went out to eat with my parents and his parents at a restaurant in Augusta owned by the guy catering our wedding, and it was DELICIOUS, as always. When we got to dinner, our parents and my Nana surprised us with our honeymoon trip!! They brought out this cute little basked to our table, we had no idea!

It had little his and hers towels, a book about the resort, bride and groom tervis tumblers, a frame, and  a photo album for us to fill with memories! David and I are so lucky to have families that a) get along well enough to plan an entire trip for us without us knowing it, and b) to have families gracious enough to send us on a trip like this! Our parents kept telling us how important it was to take advantage of this special time in our lives, and they made sure that we would be able to do this, on our trip to the Sandals resort in Jamaica!

We are so thankful for all the love and support we continue to receive from our families as we transition into this new stage in our lives, we are so fortunate to have such great people to share all of these little moments with. Even though we have said this to them a thousand times, we just want to give another huge thank you to our parents for all they have done, and continue to do for us, it always seems like thank you is never enough!!
